First of all, I thought Max and Noel would be out way earlier - I mean, Xander and Chandler went rounds ago? :( 
Also, two badass women went today. That sucks.  They should have a show together. Or kiss. Or both.
Also, you guys apparently hate vampires.

I just have this horrible personal vendetta against the show. I guess more specifically the cast? Since the show itself is probably decent. Supernatural gets completely ripped off from every award show every.single.time. But Vampire Diaries, holy fuck... If they would have won best Drama (I dont know if they were nominated, just saying in general) and won, damn skippy they would have been presented that award on stage. That cast is EVERYWHERE for EVERYTHING. And we're just like the red-headed stepchild that no one talks about at the family gatherings. That and a good handful of the fans Ive run into on twitter from that fandom have been...for lack of a better term, douchebags.

Aw, I'm sorry that's stopped you from watching the show because I really do think it's fantastic - and if you like True Blood, I'm sure you'd love it.

I find every fandom has some contingent of crappy fans - I've seen it in Supernatural as well (as well as in every fandom lol). You just have to learn to ignore them.

But I don't know if it's really fair to put the blame on TVD for SPN not winning - I mean - from what I've seen, SPN has a ton of fan support - they won the cover for TV Guide last year, for one (and probably would have won this year again had they been eligible).

Also, SPN is in what - it's 6th season or something? The hype tends to die down naturally by that point.

I mean, if you decide not to I get it and I understand - I just think you're missing out :)

No, no, that's the thing. We DID win. We won every category we were up for. But because we are that "little show that could" that only has the diehard fanbase, they didn't air it. We won Best Drama, which in past years has been pretty a HUGE category and is always really competitive, and they not only didn't present the award on stage, they didn't even invite the boys to the show. They just played a little thing on the red carpet pre-show that said Supernatural won Best Drama and Best Sci-Fi. And I think that's shady as hell. I don't BLAME Vampire Diaries for it at all, I just think it's bullshit that they're hailed the way they are, while our show is ignored.

And agreed. Supernatural fandom is full of said douchebags lol Everywhere is. I just haven't met very many nice Vampire Diaries fans to outweigh the bad ones, I suppose.

Totally agree there. I will give them props in that at least they gave the awards to people who earned them, the Teen Choice Awards (I saw a youtube video about this) in their fine print it says that no matter who gets the most votes, they can choose from the top 4...out of like 4 or 5.

It just kind of sucked to have worked so hard for it and to beat these huge shows like House and stuff and then get absolutely no recognition for it at all.

No, I know it's the awards shows fault. It was just an example of how Vampire Diaries would get treated differently than we do and I don't think it's fair. I don't BLAME them for it necessarily, I just am not going to get behind them and watch their show, that's all.

YES, I got that impression from tumblr, especially the walking dead confessions tumblr.

They published secrets for Sophia, that it's her own fault for getting lost, even though Rick told her to stay put.
Andrea, Lori and Carol are hated for various reasons, and they like to call them "bitches" for no reason at all.
But then again, I've seen someone call Shane a "rapist", too....
because yes, Lori and Andrea both protested so much.
